Discover the temple
The monastery is divided into two spaces. A part reserved for the monks and nuns living on site, with the ashram and the kitchen. The other spaces are open to the public with:
– the outdoor pools,
- a small garden,
– a museum room,
– the three temple rooms.
There are also on site the infrastructures of the yoga school and the Ahimsa Non-Violence association. To learn more about all our additional activities, visit the Radhakripa Mission portal.
Altars and deities
Coming to visit a temple is first and foremost going to meet its residents: the deities present on the altar (also called Murtis in India). The heart of the activities of our monastery is the service offered daily to the deities, who are personifications from the spiritual world. There are several places where the deities are distributed in our monastery, including 3 rooms with several altars:
– the main temple room
– the meditation room
– the room of 10,000 Shalagram Shilas
– the two outdoor Kunds (pools)

Shri Shri Nanda Yashoda Balaram Gopal Subal Dhavali Yamuna
Shri Shri Nanda Yashoda Balaram Gopal Subal Dhavali Yamuna
Since we are made in the image of God, Krishna (a name of the Supreme Lord meaning in Sanskrit the infinitely fascinating) also likes to have loving exchanges with the people who are dear to Him. He is here present as Gopal (the protector of cows) with His eternal family: His father Nanda Maharaja, His mother Yashoda, His elder brother Balarama (lower left) and one of His many friends, Subala Sakha (lower right).
In His spiritual abode in Vrindavan, Krishna is a cowherd boy who loves cows. Two are present here: Dhavali, a white cow from Balarama, and Yamuna, one of His own black cows.

Shri Shri Radha Kunjabihari
Shri Shri Radha Kunjabihari Rupa Goswami
Radharani is Krishna's eternal consort and the source of all spiritual energies. Together They form the Divine Couple and are here called Shri Shri Radha-Kunjabihari. This name refers to Radha and Krishna who enjoy loving pastimes in the sweet groves (kunjas) of Vraja.
Shri Shri Radha-Govinda, another form of the divine couple, are present just below. Next to them is Giri Govardhan, along with two receptacles containing the water of the Shyama-kund and Radha-kund, which continually serve Radha and Krishna in their pastimes.
Srila Rupa Goswami (present in the form of the painting at the bottom right) is a central figure in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, and one of the six Goswamis commissioned by Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu to write on the science of devotional service.

Shri Shri Nitaï Vishvambar
Shri Shri Nitaï Vishvambar
The Lord states in the Bhagavad-Gita that He comes from age to age to re-establish the principles of religion and to provide us with the means to regain our loving relationship with Him. About 500 years ago, in the present age of Kali-Yuga, accompanied by His eternal associates like Shri Nityananda and Shrila Gauridas Pandit. He appeared in Bengal, in the most merciful form of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He came to distribute the simplest method of obtaining the love of God: the chanting of His Holy Names or the Maha-mantra (the greatest mantra) "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare".

Shri Shri Prahlad Nrishimadeva
Shri Shri Prahlad Nrishimadeva
The Bhagavat Purana reveals that during the first age, the Lord appeared in His form of Shri Nrisimha. He assumed a fierce half-man, half-lion appearance in order to save His devotee, the 5-year-old Prahlad (here on His left), whom his father Hiranyakashipu wanted to kill. The Vaishnavas thus worship this form of the Lord so that He will grant them His protection and destroy the obstacles that lie in the way of Divine love.

GIRI GOVARDAN
Giri Govardhan
Giriraj is the king of all mountains. The gopis proclaim him to be haridasa-varia, the best servant of Sri Hari, whose worship was introduced by Sri Krishna Himself. Giri Govardhana expertly serves Krishna and His dear associates by providing them with fruits, flowers, caves and all the necessities for His various pastimes. The temple has a Govardhan Shila (a part of the Govardhan hill) to enable pilgrims to meet Giriraj in person and take His blessings.
TULASI DEVI
Tulasi Devi
She is a very intimate servant of Krishna who comes in a special form. Vaishnavas worship Tulasi Devi, Krishna’s favourite plant, which has delicate purple and green leaves and a sweet and striking fragrance. She is the embodiment of purity, chastity, unconditional love and devotion. She takes the form of a plant for the benefit of all those who perform devotional service to the Lord. Krishna does not accept any offering unless a leaf of Tulasi is also offered to Him.
GURU PARAMPARA
Guru Parampara
The Guru Parampara is our spiritual lineage that goes back to Krishna Himself, over 5,000 years ago. This imperishable science of yoga was thus received through the chain of succession from master to disciple. Krishna taught it to Brahma. Through the sound of His flute, He transmitted it directly into his heart. Thus the Vedas appeared in this world. Through this lineage, Krishna’s spiritual teachings are unaltered and their authenticity preserved by realized souls, and made available intact today.
bhaktisiddhanta sarasvati thakura prabhupada
Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada (1874–1936) was the spiritual master of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. He was a highly respected teacher of Bhakti (the science of devotion) throughout the Indian continent. He was an extremely intelligent scholar and excelled in mathematics, astronomy, Sanskrit and several other languages, like English. The University of Calcutta offered him a prestigious position, but he declined so that he could devote his life to continuing the spiritual work of his father, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura met with many scholars and leaders and wrote over 108 books and pamphlets, with the aim of presenting Bhakti as a theistic science. He established 64 temples, known as Gaudiya Maths, inside and outside India. He asked his disciple A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to go to the West to teach devotional service and the message of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, so the latter arrived in New York in 1965 and continued his spiritual master’s mission worldwide.
A.C. Bhaktivedanta swami prabhupada
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Between 1966 and 1977, Srila Abhay Charan Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada traveled around the world 14 times spreading devotional service, following the instruction given to him by his spiritual master. Despite this busy schedule, he was a prolific writer and his books constitute a large library on the subjects of Vedic philosophy, spirituality and Vaisnavism. His writings have been translated into more than 50 languages. In order to help Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu share his love all over the world, Srila Prabhupada, like a transcendental gardener, cultivated the hearts of those he came across by planting the seed of devotion in them.

GOPESVAR MAHADEV
Gopesvar Mahadev
Lord Shiva is said to be the best of all Vaishnavas, and is also well known as Ashutosh, being easily pleased and most merciful. Since he is the protector of the spiritual world, it is only through his mercy that one can truly enter this mysterious universe of pure devotion. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to offer our humble obeisances to Sri Gopesvar Mahadev and seek his mercy for progress on the path of Bhakti. Along with Tulasi Devi, Giri Govardhan and the sacred river Yamuna, Gopesvar Mahadev is one of the 4 personalities who give access to Vrindavan, the sweet and wonderful eternal abode of the Divine Couple.
The 10,000 Shalagram Shilas
The 10,000 Shalagram Shilas
The worship hall, dedicated to the Shalagram Shilas, is a sacred sanctuary in development. More than 10,000 Shalagram Shilas, venerated in the Vaishnava tradition as manifestations of the Divine, are carefully installed in this temporary space. The construction of a temple entirely dedicated to them will begin soon.
